This is Abdus Salaam's first steel sculpture. In continuing his calling toward sacred stillness, light, materiality, and form, here Salaam uses the kaleidoscopic reflection of the viewer in the polished steel, as it pulls one inward and upward to impart a sensation of peace, awe and weightlessness. Suspended from the ceiling with a vividly fragile point and angelic wings the sculpture induces a sensation of humility and raw beauty while reflecting a dance of light rays to its rear as it gently sways and invites to the unknown.
